State-level Kapu meet will be held on Sept. 11, says Mudragada
Kapu leader and former Minister Mudragada Padmanabham said a State-level meeting of the Kapu community leaders would be held at Rajamahendravaram on September 11 to chart out the course of action to mount pressure on the Andhra Pradesh government over reservation for the Kapu community.
He made a brief halt at the house of a local businessman here en route Hyderabad on Sunday.
Talking to media persons, Mr Padmanabham said that the Kapu community leaders from all over Andhra Pradesh would finalise the next course of action at the ensuing meeting if the government failed to make an announcement on Provision of reservation to the Kapu community by this month end.
To a question on film actor and Jana Sena founder Pawan Kalyan’s Saturday’s public meeting in Tirupati, he said Mr. Kalyan was fighting for Special Category Status for Andhra Pradesh. “I am fighting for the cause of my community,” he added.
